Just a couple of days ago, the auto enthusiasts in India heard that the French auto maker, Renault, is planning to roll out the facelift if its popular SUV Duster in India and now, comes the first spy shots of the prototype of Duster facelift, which has been spied undergoing testing in Chennai.
The folks at Indian Autos Blog have managed to capture the first spy shots of the completely disguised test mule of Renault Duster facelift, giving several indications about the style and design of the model.
Judging by the images, the Duster facelift, which is likely to remain more or less the same as the current model, is in the market in terms of styling and design, but it seems to have got LED treatment for the taillights. Going by the words of the original publisher, the cabin of the Duster facelift is also likely to see some changes.
Under the hood, Duster facelift is likely to get the same 1.5-litre dCi diesel engine that can churn out 108 BHP and is rumoured to get 6-speed dual clutch transmission, called the EDC (Efficient Dual Clutch).
The launch of the new Duster is expected to take place soon in the country as the current model in the market is facing some serious competition with the arrival of new competitors like Hyundai Creta and Maruti S-cross.
