It looks like the launch of the much-awaited facelifted avatar of Duster SUV from the house of Renault has almost been confirmed. The emerging reports indicate that the French auto maker could launch the Duster facelift in India as early as in March.
A report of Indian Autos Blog claims that the Duster facelift AMT, which made its India debut at the Auto Expo 2016 may go on sale in the domestic market towards March-end. The Duster facelift media activities are reportedly scheduled to happen in the second week of March.
The Duster SUV, which recorded a phenomenal success in the Indian market, gets changes both inside and outside in its new avatar. Most important change is in the from of 6-speed Easy-R Automated Transmission (AMT). Powering the Duster facelift is the same 1.5-litre diesel engine.
Coming to the exterior changes in the Duster facelift, the SUV gets re-styled front and rear fascia and features electrically adjustable OVRMs with turn indicators, LED tail lamps, new head lamp cluster, roof rails and 16-inch alloy wheels. The company has also introduced a new Cayenne orange exterior colour in the Duster SUV colour palette besides the existing colour options.
Inside the cabin, the new Duster is spruced up with Crimson-black interior theme for the AWD version and Cedarwood-black interior for all other variants with dual-tone dashboard. On the safety front, the new Duster comes equipped with rear view camera, ABS with EBD, Brake Assist, dual airbags, ESP and Hill Start Assist.
