The year 2016 began on a grand note for the Malayalam film industry with the release of four notable movies. Adding to the joy, the release dates of upcoming Malayalam films "Hello Namaste" and "AakashVani" have been revealed.
"Hello Namaste", starring Vinay Forrt, Sanju Sivram, Bhavana and Miya, is set to hit screens on Feb. 19. In the movie, Vinay and Sanju are seen as radio jockeys RJ Madhav and RJ Jerry, respectively. Bhavana plays the role of a baker named Priya, who is Madhav's wife and Miya does the role of an HR manager and Jerry's girlfriend Anna. Aju Varghese, Soubin Shahir, Mukesh, Muthumani and Swapna Treasa also play pivotal roles in the movie.
Looking at the film's trailer, "Hello Namaste" is expected to be comedy entertainer revolving around a jackfruit tree. While cinematography is handled by P Sukumar, the film's music is composed by M Jayachandran. The Jayan K Nair directorial, which went on floors on 15 September in Kochi, is scripted by Krishna Poojappura.

Meanwhile, Kavya Madhavan and Vijay Babu starrer "AakashVani", which tells the story of the couple Aakash and Vani, is set to lock horns with "AakashVani" on Feb. 19. The movie, directed by Khais Millen, is scripted by Vinod and Vinod. While Indrajith cranks the camera, Anil Gopalan composes the music and background score is handled by Rahul Subrahmanian.
Produced by Praveen Arackal under the banner of Royal Splendour creations, "Aakash Vani" also has Joju George, Saiju Govinda Kurup, Akshara Kishore, Soubin Shahir, Mukesh, P Balachandran and Pradeep Kottayam in significant roles.
