The release date of the much-awaited movie, "Baahubali: The Conclusion" (Baahubali 2), has been announced. Karan Johar took to Twitter and made the big announcement, saying that he is proud to be associated with director SS Rajamouli again.

"Baahubali 2" will be released on April 28, 2017. Karan, who has acquired the rights of the big budget movie, tweeted, "Dharma Productions and AA films are honored and proud to associate once again with the genius @ssrajamouli 's vision [sic]."

In his next tweet, the film-maker revealed the release date of "Baahubali: The Conclusion," as April 28 next year. "Baahubali: The Beginning" had broken several records in the history of Indian cinema, and fans have been eagerly waiting for the release of the second part. "Baahubali" had ended at a point where viewers were left highly curious to know the answer to the question: "Why did Katappa kill Baahubali?"

SS Rajamouli has been busy with the shooting of the film, which features Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty and Tamannaah, among others.

After the success of the first part, expectations of fans regarding "Baahubali 2" have doubled. The epic historical fiction drama had incorporated impressive VFX that had stunned viewers. The director had said that the second part of the film will be even bigger in every aspect.

Originally to be made in Telugu, "Baahubali 2" will be released in Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam as well. It has been reported that the climax of "Baahubali 2" will feature a huge war sequence, much grander than what was shown in the first part, that will last for around an hour.
