Americans have imported many things Britain from Benedict Cumberbatch and "The Office" to One Direction, and almost all of them are awesome; including Red Nose Day.
The event, which was started by Comic Relief to raise money for those living in poverty around the world, is celebrated on 13 March in the UK. However, when NBC adopted the event into a three-hour charity drive involving hugely popular celebrities including Jennifer Hudson, Reese Witherspoon, Jack Black, Martin Short, John Legend, and Will Ferrell, Red Nose Day got a new date of celebration, 21 May.
Seth Meyers, David Duchovny and Jane Krakowski all host one hour each of the three-hour show, while Nick Cannon took part in a 24-hour danceathon before the event started.
Meanwhile, "Game of Thrones" star Peter Dinklage aka Tyrion Lannister joined hands with Coldplay to make a "Game of Thrones: Musical", where he sings about all the main characters that have been killed off and how he is "still going strong".
