Rockstar Games has remained muted about the release info for its highly-anticipated sequel to Red Dead Redemption aka Red Dead Redemption 2 (RDR 2). Nevertheless, the restless tipsters and RDR fans have found innovative ways of leaking the game's release details, ahead of its launch.
YouTuber Easy Allies has recently posted a new preview video titled 'Destiny 2 Reveal Impressions' which showcases Jones and Huber sharing their hands-on impression of the game. It is reported that the duo were invited to the grand reveal of Destiny 2 wherein they could test-run the first mission of the campaign, besides participating in a few PVP matches on PS4 Pro and PC.
During the reveal, Richard Gent had accidentally leaked the release details for RDR 2 while stating that Destiny 2 would come out a week before RDR 2. It is now officially confirmed that Destiny 2 will release on September 8 for PS4 and Xbox One.
Going by Gent's statement, it is ascertained that Red Dead Redemption 2 would likely roll out on September 15 (exactly a week after Destiny 2 release). A closer observation of the video suggests that Gent had indeed sounded serious when he mentioned the release details for Rockstar's upcoming game in RDR franchise.
As Rockstar is yet to comment on the ensuing release rumours for RDR 2, this bit of info should be taken with a pinch of salt. With Jones being mentioned that he was at the E3 Judges Week, the leak does gain some credibility.
Rockstar Games has only confirmed that the RDR 2 will release in fall 2017 without specifying the actual release date. It must be noted that the fall season starts September 1 and ends November 30. So, if we co-relate the officially confirmed release details with the leak then logically it sounds to be true.
