Of late, Ekta Kapoor's new show "Kuch Toh Hai Tere Mere Darmiyaan" has been in news due to its major replacement in cast.
It is known that the makers have roped in Aly Goni, who plays the role of Romi in "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" and "Pavitra Rishta" actress Asha Negi as the lead pair replacing Vibhav Roy and Shritama Mukherjee.
While the reason for the major replacement is said to be low TRPs, latest report suggest that the makers have decided to change the plot of the story, which didn't go down well with Shritama.
"It is not our fault. We were told that we are great performers and are not to be blamed for the TRPs. But they needed to change the story from a youth love story to saas-bahu family drama due to the slot change. They asked me, but I was not ready to play a married woman so soon. So, i am very content and happy with the decision," Shritama told Absolute India.
When asked about the last day of shoot, Shritama added: "Nothing has been confirmed yet. We have been told we are still continuing, so am stil not sure. I'll be able to say only once everything is confirmed"
Meanwhile, Aly and Asha will start shooting for the show in three days.
Clearing the rumours surrounding his exit from popular show "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein", Aly assured that he is still very much a part of the show. "I am still doing both the shows as of now," Absolute India quoted him as saying.
