Apple iPhone lovers who cannot afford the pricey smartphones now have an alternative, at least on the lines of looks and design. Reach Mobiles launched the Allure+ smartphone in India, which looks almost identical to the iPhone 6 Plus, and is available exclusively on ShopClues for Rs. 5,444.
Reach Allure+ features a 5.5-inch qHD display with 2.5D design glass, a circular home button at the bottom of the screen and antenna lines on the back, all of which resonate the iPhone 6 Plus design. The handset has the power button on the right and the volume rocker keys on the left panel. The rear camera module is placed at the top left corner of the phone's back cover and it is slightly protruding like the iPhone.
In terms of specifications, the Allure+ is basically a budget Android device with few standout features. It has a 10-megapixel primary camera with LED flash and a 5MP front snapper with features such as touch focus, panorama, HDR, face beauty and smile detection. The handset is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 1GB supporting RAM and offers 8GB in expandable storage.
The dual-SIM smartphone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop and packs a 2,600mAh battery, which the company claims to offer 7 hours of talk time. The new Allure+ supports 4G LTE bands for high-speed browsing on carrier networks and comes with GPS, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi, microUSB 2.0, proximity and G-sensor. It measures 157.5x79.1x7.9 mm and weighs around 169.2 grams.
Reach Mobiles has tied up with ShopClues as an exclusive partner to sell the Allure+ online.
