The Reserve Bank of India Wednesday fixed the reference rate for the U.S. dollar at 52.6750 rupees and the euro at 69.1277 rupees.
The corresponding rates of dollar and euro for Tuesday were 53.0270 rupees and 68.9987 rupees respectively.
Based on the reference rate for the U.S. dollar and middle rates of the cross-currency quotes, the exchange rates of British pound as against the rupee is 82.5259 as against 82.3403 on the previous day and that of Japanese yen is 67.72 as against 68.03 the previous day.
