The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Thursday fixed the reference rate for the US dollar at 51.6520 rupees and the euro at 69.5086 rupees.
The corresponding rates of dollar and euro for the previous day (November 30, 2011) were 52.1650 rupees and 69.4735 rupees respectively.
Based on the reference rate for the US dollar and middle rates of the cross-currency quotes, the exchange rates of British pound as against the rupee is 81.0575 as against 81.2887 on the previous day (November 30, 2011) and that of Japanese yen is 66.50 as against 66.93 the previous day.
