Photos of the eagerly awaited Xiaomi Mi5 have surfaced online, revealing that the device will sport a smaller screen, and not the 5.2-inch one as anticipated.
Technology blog Gizmo China has got hold of two images of the Xiaomi Mi5's front panel, and claims the screen size is 5 inch. It also shows that device features curved corners, an oval-shaped space at the bottom and a speaker grille with small circular cavity to the right side. Many believe the empty space at the bottom to be the home button module, which is expected to house a finger-print sensor, whereas the small hole on top is said to house the front camera.
However, the images do not give any clue on whether the display will be QHD (2560x1440p) or full HD (1920x1080p). But we believe Xiaomi Mi5 will boast the former, as QHD is now the norm for flagship devices in the smartphone industry. [Check out the Xiaomi Mi5 images, HERE]
