On Karan Johar's Koffee couch, when Sara Ali Khan was asked who she would like to date, pat came her response Kartik Aaryan which had taken her dad Saif Ali Khan by surprise. Later, when Kartik got to know about Sara's wish, the Pyaar Ka Punchnama actor couldn't stop blushing and said that she is pretty and would definitely like to have a cup of coffee with her.
While Sara has spoken about her teeny-weeny crush on Kartik, her Simmba co-star Ranveer Singh decided to play the cupid between them.
Recently, at an award function, Ranveer, with a mischievous smile on his face, introduced Kartik to Sara and made them to hold hands. While both Kartik and Sara looked excited and shared awkward smiles, Ranveer kept teasing them making hearts with his hands in front of them.
The meeting, however, was too short and there was nothing but a formal hi and hello between them.
This comes a week after Kartik talked about his 'eco-friendly' date with Sara Ali Khan on Neha Dhupia's chat show No Filter Neha.
"I think Saif (Ali Khan) sir was also there, so it was all eco-friendly," Kartik said adding that they have exchanged general hellos at parties but nothing more.
