Ranveer Singh has rubbished reports of replacing Salman Khan as the next "Bigg Boss" host.
Denying the speculations of him hosting reality show "Bigg Boss" season 8, the "Gunday" actor said, "I haven't been approached for 'Bigg Boss 8' so far. If television comes my way and I can make room for it in my schedule, I will do it," reported Koimoi.
The lively actor, however, is open to the prospect of hosting on the small screen in future since he believes his entertaining demeanor makes him the apt choice.
"I would love to do television. I am naturally fun and I try to bring the same energy when I am hosting. I recently hosted the GiMa Awards too and it was a blast... Whenever I go to any television show to promote my film, the show producers are floored. I think I have a knack for television."
With Ranveer denying the rumours of "Bigg Boss 8", the most prominent question is whether Salman Khan will continue to host the controversial reality show which created quite a stir last season and even affected Salman's image.
Meanwhile, the "Ramleela" star has signed Zoya Akhtar's upcoming project alongside Priyanka Chopra. According to reports, Ranveer and Priyanka are likely to play siblings in the film while Anushka Sharma might be seen as the actor's love interest. Initially, Kareena and Ranbir Kapoor were approached for the brother sister pair.
The film is set to be a funny take on family's holiday trip and will be shot in South Africa from April this year.
