Filmmaker Zoya Akhtar has achieved an impossible feat, by signing some of the most in-demand stars of Bollywood for her next film "Dil Dhadakne Do".
As per reports, the "Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara" director has managed to rope in Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra, Anushka Sharma and brother Farhan Akhtar for her upcoming directorial.
"Dil Dhadakne Do" revolves round a misbalanced Punjabi family, according to The Times of India.
The film, which is set to start rolling from May, will also have Anil Kapoor joining the cast, along with either Tabu or Madhuri Dixit Nene. Both actresses are currently in talks with the director.
Both Ranveer and Priyanka had confirmed their association with the project in earlier interviews, while Anushka's involvement was unsure until now. Speculations of Priyanka and Ranveer playing brother and sister have been doing rounds but the "Ram-Leela" actor has refused to divulge any details on the story.
Zoya had previously approached Ranbir Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor for the brother-sister pairing in the film, but both actors turned down the roles, leaving the filmmaker to look for an alternative.
Meanwhile, former lovers Ranveer and Anushka are expected to be seen as a couple in "Dil Dhadakne Do". The "Band Baaja Baaraat" duo was last seen together onscreen in "Ladies vs Ricky Bahl" (2011).
The film is set to be shot mainly around open seas and will have the cast traversing Turkey, Spain, Italy, France and Tunisia on a cruise.
