In order to help people suffering from cancer, a hair donation campaign was organised by the charitable group Canserve Charitable Society in Kochi on Wednesday, 14 October.
Malayalam actresses Manju Warrier and Rima Kallingal attended the function, which was organised in association with St Teresa's College.
Wheelchair bound Padmapriya Menon, a history student of the women's college, was the first person to donate hair for the campaign, titled 'Locks for Hope'.

The aim of the charitable society is to make wigs for cancer patients using the hair donated by people.
Earlier, "Premam" fame Sai Pallavi aka Malar and cricketer Sreesanth also attended the walkathon organised by Canserve society in Kochi on 6 September.
Manju and Rima will be next seen in Aashiq Abu's upcoming women centric film "Rani Padmini", which revolves around the story of two women on their trip to Himachal Pradesh for different purposes.
The film is expected to lock horns with superstar Mohanlal's thriller film "Kanal", which is scheduled to be released on 23 October.
