If reports are to be believed, the alleged star couple Rani Mukherji and Aditya Chopra will tie the knot in February.
The couple, who has kept the media guessing about their relationship, has now decided the date and venue for their marriage, The Times of India reported.
According to the report, Rani and Aditya are set to tie the knot on 10 February at the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The venue was decided after Rani attended Nita Ambani's birthday party in Jodhpur a few months ago.
"When Rani had come for Nita Ambani's birthday celebrations, she'd done a recce of the palace. The confirmation came just a few days ago. The wedding celebrations will take place in the first two weeks of February, and the wedding might be on February 10. Since they wanted to keep it private, they have said that everyone should respect their request for total secrecy around the wedding," TOI quoted a source as saying.
Last year, speculations were doing the rounds that the couple might marry in January 2014 in traditional Punjabi style. The marriage was reportedly postponed to 2014 due to the death of legendary filmmaker and Aditya's father Yash Chopra in late 2012.
According to Punjabi customs, following the demise of anyone close, celebrating any festival or happy occasion is forbidden for a year.
There have been reports that the couple is engaged, after Rani was spotted wearing a diamond ring during Durga Puja in October.
