Bollywood actress Rani Mukerji, who has been missing from action since her last film "Mardaani" in 2014, is expecting a baby in January 2016.
Earlier there were speculations about Rani's pregnancy, but the actress--known to be a private person--kept mum about it. However, recently her sister-in-law Jyoti Mukerji confirmed the reports of pregnancy.
"Yes, Rani is pregnant," Jyoti told Mumbai Mirror.
Rani, who is enjoying her family time, was last spotted in London by a fan at a spa getting a prenatal massage.
Last month, the Mid Day quoted a source as saying, "Rani has been away from media glare for some time now and there are speculations that she is pregnant. She was recently spotted holidaying in London. The actress looked relaxed and was glowing. She was dressed casually and was seen visiting a plush spa for prenatal massage."
It is said that to hide her pregnancy the actress and her family have been trying to be away from the media. It was being speculated that the actress will reveal her pregnancy in her second trimester. Well, the Mumbai Mirror has now reported that Rani is in her second trimester of pregnancy.
Aditya Chopra and Rani got hitched at a private ceremony on 21 April 2014, the same year when she gave a hit performance in women-centric flick "Mardaani." After that, the actress was only spotted in a few events and parties.
Rani has currently no work commitments and she is leading a happy married life. The actress was reportedly approached to play Dawood Ibrahim's sister Haseena Parkar's role in a biopic that eventually went to Sonakshi Sinha.
Meanwhile, even though Rani's sister-in-law has confirmed the news, the couple are still shying away from admitting it.
