Bollywood actress Rani Mukerji's fans got an unexpected treat from her when she posted a few pictures of her baby daughter, Adira, for the first time on social media. Rani and her husband, Yash Raj Films' head honcho Aditya Chopra, are known to be very guarded regarding their personal life, and so the baby's photos on Instagram were took everyone by surprise.
Adira, who was born on Dec. 9 last year, looks like an adorable doll in a pink dress in the pictures. Rani first shared a single photo of her baby, with the caption: "My biggest treasure #AdiraMommyLovesyou â¤ï¸ (meet my princess )." Then, she shared a collage of her daughter's pictures with the caption: "Mommy can't get enough #MoreOfThePrincess (just letting you see more of this princess) â¤ï¸"
The actress married Aditya in a private ceremony in 2014. While she was pregnant, Rani and her family made all efforts to avoid the media cameras, but she thanked her well-wishers after giving birth to the baby.
"I would like to thank all my well wishers and fans. Today life has given us God's greatest gift with Adira. We thank fans our friends and well wishers for their unconditional support and blessings. With joy we begin this new chapter in our lives," Rani had said in a statement.
It was Aditya's brother Uday Chopra who had announced on Twitter that his sister-in-law had delivered a baby girl.
