Kangana Ranaut is willing to work with Irrfan Khan and she is okay with portraying any role in the movie. After Kangana had opted out of Irrfan's upcoming movie "Divine Lovers," there were reports suggesting that the actress wanted to do solo lead films.
Although the reason behind Kangana walking out of "Divine Lovers" is not confirmed, the "Rangoon" actress now said that she is ready to share screen space with Irrfan.
The "Piku" actor made a candid comment recently when asked about Kangana's exit from the film. Irrfan said that Kangana has become out of reach now and he is ready to work with her if she plays the hero and he would be seen as the heroine.
"He always teases me. He had once told me two swords could never stay in the same sheath. I couldn't understand it. But I would like to work with Irrfan sir regardless of whatever role is offered to me," Kangana told the Indian Express when asked to comment on Irrfan's recent statement.
During the trailer launch of "Madaari" some time back, Irrfan was asked about Kangana opting out of "Divine Lovers" and the actor had said: "I think even I don't know whether I will be able to do 'Divine Lovers' because it is very far and it keeps coming and going. And Kangana is now so out of reach that if I have the wish to work with her as a heroine, then I will surely work with her. If she becomes the hero and I become the heroine, then I will certainly do it. So one has to bring up a script in which she is the hero and I am the heroine."
