Salman Khan's upcoming movie "Sultan" will reportedly bring the superstar and Randeep Hooda back together on the big screen.
It has been reported that Randeep has been roped in to play the role of Salman's wrestling coach in "Sultan."
As reported, makers of the movie "Sultan" wanted someone with good physique and strong personality to play the role of Salman's wrestling trainer and Salman recommended Randeep's name for the role.
"Director Ali Abbas Zafar was searching for someone to play Salman's wrestling coach. The role needed someone tall with a good physique and persona. It's a meaty role. Salman felt that Randeep fits the bill, so he recommended Randeep's name. The team then approached Randeep and he agreed to come on board," DNA quoted a source as saying.
The report also mentioned that Salman and Randeep have been in good terms ever since the two worked together in the movie "Kick."
Several speculations and rumours had been buzzing around the cast of "Sultan" as names of Hollywood superstar Sylvester Stallone and Sanjay Dutt also popped up earlier in connection to playing Salman's wrestling coach in the film. However, latest reports suggest that it is Randeep who finally bagged the role.
There have been speculations regarding the female lead of "Sultan" as well. Names of actresses like Parineeti Chopra, Deepika Padukone and Anushka Sharma popped up for Salman's heroine in the film but, nothing has been confirmed so far.
