B-town couple Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif, and rumours of their wedding plans, have been making news for quite some time.
The latest buzz is that Ranbir and Katrina are all set to make their relationship official. If rumours are to be believed, the couple's engagement ceremony, or Roka, will be held by the end of this month.
The entire Kapoor family is planning to organise a function to make Ranbir and Katrina's relationship official. However, it will be a private affair and invitation will be confined to close friends and family members.
"The family is planning to host a special function by the end of the month to solemnise Ranbir and Katrina's relationship. It will be a hush-hush affair, with only family and a few friends in attendance, though it's not clear whether it will be an engagement, or a roka (a Punjabi tradition wherein a relationship is formalised)," a source close to the Kapoor family told Hindustan Times.
The family has decided to have the ceremony by the end of this month, keeping in mind the couple's commitments.
"They decided on the end of May, as Ranbir will be free after the release of Bombay Velvet, and Katrina will also be back from Cannes. Plus, it will give the family time to plan the function." the source added.
However, the "Barfi" actor continues to deny the speculation. He had even mentioned that "when it comes to wedding, speculation spoils the fun."
When asked about marriage plans, Katrina told the daily: "When I plan to (get married), you'll know beforehand. And it's okay if it causes a circus, because no one means any harm."
