While Ranbir Kapoor is busy promoting his upcoming film, "Bombay Velvet", alongside Anushka Sharma and Karan Johar, the actor seems to have bagged another big project.
Yash Raj Film chief Aditya Chopra, who had last directed "Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi" is planning to helm another film for which he has approached the "Barfi" actor.
"Adi has been planning to direct a film since Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, but nothing worked out. He has finally locked a script which will be on the lines of Dil To Pagal Hai. In that movie, two girls fell for one guy. Here, two heroes will fall for the same girl." a source told DNA
For the other lead actor, the makers are said to have approached Varun Dhawan.
"Adi wants two young actors to play parallel leads in the film. He is considering RK and VD for the roles because they fit the bill perfectly. As for the heroine, Adi will either sign a fresh face or another Gen-X actress," the source added.
However, both Ranbir and Varun are yet to give their nod to the project. If the deal is sealed, the makers are expected to roll the cameras from next year.
Meanwhile, apart from "Bombay Velvet", Ranbir is busy with Imtiaz Ali's "Tamasha" opposite ex-girlfriend Deepika Padukone while Varun has recently wrapped up "ABCD 2".
