Is Ranvir Kapoor poised to take everything that belongs to Salman Khan? First he took Salman's girlfriend, now he might also grab the show "Bigg Boss" to his name.
If reports are to be believed, the "Besharam" actor has been approached to host the ninth season of the reality show.
Salman hosted the controversial show since season four and topped the chart of TV ratings. But there are reports that the actor might step down as the host of the controversial show.
"The makers of 'Bigg Boss' seem to have a surprise in store for their viewers. If the latest buzz is anything to go by, then Bollywood's 'superstar in the making' - Ranbir Kapoor- has been approached to host the next season of the popular reality TV show," Zee News reported.
The report claims that Salman will be busy with his show that will be based on social causes and he may not have time to host the next season of "Bigg Boss".
If Ranbir accepts the offer, he will make his television debut as host with "Bigg Boss 8".
The recent events have left the "Jai Ho" star disgruntled that Ranbir is taking away everything from him. During the chat show "Koffee With Karan", when Salman was asked about Ranbir and Katrina Kaif, he said that the new guy is snatching everything from him.
However, Ranbir believes that Salman is very encouraging and he is extremely nice.
"So much is said where Salman Sir is concerned because of all of this. But he has always been very encouraging. He has always been very sweet to me. He was a part of my first movie. And whenever I met him he is extremely nice. I think there is so much that the media writes that builds a certain misunderstanding which doesn't exist," Ranbir said on "Koffee With Karan".
