Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are reportedly set to share screen space for the first time in Imtiaz Ali's next untitled film.
Imtiaz has signed Ranbir for the third time and to add a fresh pairing in his upcoming movie, the director has roped in Alia, according to reports.
"Ranbir with Katrina or Deepika has become a predictable pairing. He (Imtiaz Ali) has never cared who his heroine was. In fact, in 'Rockstar', Imtiaz cast a completely dout-of-depth Nargis Fakhri with Ranbir. Now, his next will feature Ranbir with Alia for the first time," DNA quoted a source as saying.
The report added that Ranbir's close friends have suggested the "Tamasha" actor to stop pairing up with Katrina, Deepika or Anushka, as he has been seen with them in the recent past.
Ranbir recently paired up with Deepika in "Tamasha", following which he will be seen sharing screen space with Katrina in "Jagga Jasoos" and with Anushka in "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil".
Ranbir's last film with Anushka "Bombay Velvet" bombed at the box office, but the actor's collaboration with Deepika and Katrina has more or less been successful.
On the other hand, Alia has a couple of upcoming projects including "Udta Punjab" and "Kapoor and Sons".
