The rumoured Ranbir Kapoor-Katrina Kaif split has left everyone in shock. And the reasons are quite surprising as well.
According to The Asian Age, the actor's friendly interactions with Deepika Padukone during "Tamasha" promotions wasn't the only reason why they broke up: The couple had compatibility issues.
"Incompatibility was an issue — Ranbir liked to party, Katrina liked to stay home. Ayan Mukerji, who is a close friend, mediated between them. There was also Ranbir's fear of the 'M' word, and after his last film with his ex, Deepika, the relationship just hit a rough patch," a source said.
Also, the fact that the "Fitoor" star wasn't very close to the Kapoor clan, not as much as she'd like to, worked against them. Neetu Kapoor made headlines for cropping Katrina out of a family photo, and husband Rishi turned heads by denying reports of the actress addressing him as "papa".
Considering that none of the parties concerned has admitted to the reports, this, at best, can be taken as speculation. However, Katrina dodged questions on her personal life at a recently fashion show. She said people should instead concentrate on the event, adding it wasn't the right platform to talk about such things.
In other news, the Kapoor scion has reportedly shifted base to Wilson Apartments (Bandra suburbs) and his parents are supposed to join him in the same building soon.
