Looks like Ranbir Kapoor, ex-beau of stunning Deepika Padukone, is all excited to work with the "Sexiest Woman in the World 2014" once again.
Kapoor, while expressing his joy about working with Padukone in Imtiaz Ali's "Tamaasha" said, "I am very blessed that I can work with an actor like Deepika, because she adds so much to a film with her beauty, mind, talent and sheer presence. I am grateful that I'm getting an opportunity to work with her," reported the Hindustan Times.
The duo after their much-publicized break up, teamed up for the first time in 2013 for the blockbuster "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani", which received immense praise from the audience.
Padukone is currently one of the most sought after actresses in Bollywood and her films "Race-2", "Ram-Leela", "Chennai Express" and "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani" turned out to be blockbuster hits, thus making her rank first on the wish-list of most filmmakers. However, it now appears that it is not only film makers who look forward to working with the leggy lass. Even actors are equally excited to work opposite the "Ram-Leela" actress.
"We are mature individuals besides being great friends. We have gotten over the past. A lot has been said and written about it (their relationship) for the last seven years. (I keep getting asked) 'Is it odd to work with Deepika' or 'is it good to team up with her?' Kapoor added. "But we have already done a film together, which was successful and people really appreciated our chemistry. This was despite the fact is that we were working together after our break-up."
The "Barfi" actor also explained that he is thrilled to work with Ali all over again, after their successful "Rockstar."
"He gave me a film (Rockstar; 2011) that's very close to my heart. It was a character that really changed my perception of acting and how an actor should approach movies," Kapoor added.
"Tamaasha" is Padukone's third movie with Ali after "Love Aaj Kal" (2009) and "Cocktail"(2012). The ex-lovers will soon fly out to Corsica, France to shoot for the upcoming romantic flick.
"Tamaasha", produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, is expected to hit theaters in 2015.
