Even, Anushka and Ranbir have also posted a few pictures in their Instagram accounts, which show the star cast is having a fun time while promoting their film.
"Bombay Velvet" is based on the book, "Mumbai Fables", which is set in 1960s. It narrates the story of a street fighter, Johnny Balraj (played by Kapoor), and how Bombay transformed to become one of the biggest cities of the country.
It is being reported that the "Rockstar" actor underwent heavy-weight training sessions for his part in the film. Additionally, it is being said that he will be seen as a daredevil who has shot extensive cage-fighting scenes in the neo-noir drama. However, most of the parts are shown in the film's trailer as well which received mixed reviews.
Produced by Fox Star Studios and Phantom Productions, the movie is slated for 15 May release. "Bombay Velvet" also has Kay Kay Menon, Manish Choudhary, Raveena Tandon and Siddharth Basu in pivotal roles.
