The official trailer of Ranbir Kapoor-Deepika Padukone starrer "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani" is out and has already received positive comments from moviegoers.
The three-minute-thirty seconds trailer introduces Bunny (Ranbir Kapoor) who wants to live life to the fullest. Deepika plays the role of Naina - the nerdy girl-next door - a completely opposite character to that of Ranbir's in the movie. Actors Kalki Koechlin (Aditi) and Aditya Roy Kapur (Avi) appear as friends of Ranbir and Deepika.
The film's trailer brings a fresh and youthful appeal that we often see in Karan Johar films.
Deepika has been paired up with her ex-boyfriend Ranbir after five long years. They were last seen in the 2008 movie "Bachna Ae Haseeno". Heaping praises on Deepika, Ranbir said, "I was amazed and happy looking the way she has grown as an actress. She is extremely intelligent and has a pretty smile, so it is easy to act as like you are in love with her," reported Indo Asian News Service.
"Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani" is directed by Ayan Mukherjee and produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. The director has teamed up with Ranbir after "Wake Up Sid", a romantic comedy-drama film about an aimless college student.
"Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani" is slated for 31 March release.
Besides this movie, Ranbir is busy with his upcoming project "Besharam" directed by "Dabangg" fame Abhinav Kashyap. The movie is about a car thief who is on the run from the cops. Actress Pallavi Sharda plays the female lead. The movie is likely to get released in October.
As for Deepika, the beautiful actress is busy three big films including Shah Rukh Khan's "Chennai Express," Ranveer Singh's "Ram Leela" and southern superstar Rajinikanth's "Kochadaiyaan."
