After completing the shooting of SS Rajamouli's "Baahubali Part 1", Actor Rana Daggubati joined the unit of Tamil remake of Malayalam film "Bangalore Days" in Chennai on 7 April.

Rana Daggubati took to his Twitter handle on Monday night, 6 April, and thanked director SS Rajamouli for giving an opportunity to star in his magnum opus. The actor tweeted, "And it's the end of Part-1 of the epic #Baahubali for me. Can't thank @ssrajamouli enough for choosing me for this film. More soon....."
He also revealed that he will start shooting for the Tamil remake of "Bangalore Days", which also features Arya, Bobby Simha and Sri Divya in the lead roles. He tweeted, "Now taking a plane to chennai and literally moving to my next film in Tamil the remake of 'Bangalore Days'. Filming begins tomorrow."
Rana thanked Shobu Yarlagadda, who wished him success for his next Tamil movie. The "Baahubali" producer tweeted, "Wishing @RanaDaggubati the very best as he starts his new project today! #Bangaloredays Tamil remake!!"
Along with actress Tamannaah Bhatia, Rana Daggubati attended the ComicCon in Bangalore on 4 April. As part of the promotion of "Baahubali", the actors launched the new merchandise of the movie. Along with a photo of the new designs, he tweeted, "@BaahubaliMovie: We are launching new merchandise in Comic Con Bangalore. You can also buy @ http://shop.baahubali.com"

However, the Tamil remake of "Bangalore Days" was launched at event in Chennai in the third week of March. Rana Daggubati attended the event along with his co-stars of the movie. He will start the regular shooting of the movie from Tuesday (7 April).
Soon after the launch of the movie, the actor had tweeted, "My next has begun. I'm part of the #tamilversion (remake) of the Malayalam blockbuster Bangalore Days! More updates soon." Later, he added, "Primary cast of the film: Sri Divya, Parvathi Menon, Lakshmi Rai, Arya, Simha and Myself. In the female and male leads respectively."
