Badai Bungalow, the chat show telecast on Malayalam entertainment channel Asianet, is one of the most popular comedy shows presented by comedians Ramesh Pisharody and Mukesh. The episode on Sunday, October 16, was special for the viewers as it was graced by superstar Mohanlal, who came to Badai Bungalow to celebrate the success of his latest crime thriller Oppam.
However, despite having Mohanlal's presence, viewers seem to have been disappointed with the episode as Ramesh Pisharody was not seen hosting the programme. Another popular anchor, Rajesh, was the host on Sunday which did not go down well with the audience. "Happy to see Lalettan in Badai Bungalow. But where is Pisharody?" asks a netizen.
Pisharody is currently in the US as part of stage shows. Even though the team of Badai Bungalow had shot many upcoming episodes before the comedian left to the US, Sunday's episode with Mohanlal was scheduled in a short notice that led the team to consider Rajesh as its anchor. Pisharody, who has been garnering tremendous audience support after missing the episode with Mohanlal, will return to Kerala on November 5.
Meanwhile, Dharmajan Bolgatty, Arya and Praseetha Menon (Ammay) who are pivotal characters of the show were also missing from Sunday's episode. As part of the success celebration of Oppam, actress Anusree and child artiste Meenakshi, who played significant roles in the Priyadarshan directorial, also attended the show. Badai Bungalow without Pisharody is like rice gruel without salt
He is the only anchor who got a lot of fans for not hosting a programme.
Even though it could have been a mass episode, we couldn't enjoy only because of this person's absence.
