Even as there have been rumours that Hrithik Roshan will play the lead in upcoming Hindi remake of "Rambo," the actor recently made an interesting tweet sharing an article on the buzz. Director Siddharth Anand is all set to remake the superhit Hollywood action movie, but there has not been any official announcement on who will play the role donned by Sylvester Stallone in the original.
Hrithik took to Twitter and shared a news article that suggested that the "Mohenjo Daro" actor will play the lead role in the Hindi remake of "Rambo." Interestingly, the actor did not comment much on the article, but just tweeted "lovely." It is not yet clear if Hrithik wanted to confirm his part in the Hindi version of the action franchise or was he just being sarcastic.
A recent report in the Mid-Day had said that Hrithik would be seen wearing the shoes of Sylvester in Siddharth Anand's upcoming movie as a source said, "The Hindi remake of 'Rambo' will have Hrithik reprising Sylvester Stallone's classic character, but with a desi twist. Siddharth bought the rights to the film a couple of years ago and is now all set to take it on floors."
However earlier, the filmmaker had said that he might also cast a newcomer for the film. "Hrithik is always on top of my mind but I haven't finalised anyone as yet. It can be a new actor as well," Siddharth told the Times of India.
Meanwhile, Hirthik has two more upcoming movies, "Mohenjo Daro" and "Kaabil." After completing shooting for the former, Hrithik will have a busy schedule for the shooting of "Kaabil."
