Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial film "Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-leela" has crossed "Krrish 3" earnings in several overseas circuits.
"Ram-leela" starring Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh has successfully completed its four weeks run and has entered the fifth week. Despite new releases, the film is still running in the international arena.
After surpassing the business of "Krrish 3" in US-Canada and Australia regions, "Ram-leeela" has crossed the business of super hero flick in UK region as well.
"After crossing the business of #Krrish3 in U.S.A.-Canada and Australia, #RamLeela has crossed #Krrish3 in U.K. too," trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted.
"Ram-leela" has grossed around ₹9.15 crore (£908,512), while "Krrish 3" has grossed ₹8.40 crore (£833,620) from UK box offices.
From US-Canada, "Ram-leela" raked in ₹16.41 crore ($2,633,885) and "Krrish 3" raked in ₹13.66 crore ($2,191,343). From Australia, "Ram-leela" earned ₹2.98 crore (A$ 539,823) and "Krrish 3" minted ₹2.62 crores (A$ 457,544).
The epic love story has crossed the lifetime figures of superhit films "Dabangg 2", "Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara", "Agneepath" and "Barfi!" at the UK box offices, Adarsh said.
Meanwhile, at domestic box office, the film has become the fourth highest grosser film of the year by earning more than ₹110 crore.
"Ram-leela" is Deepika's fourth film that has crossed ₹100 crore mark and became one of the highest grosser films of the year.
