Ram Kapoor of TV show "Bade Achhe Lagte Hain" is back on television with another show "Dil ki Baatein Dil hi Jaane".
The show has a fresh concept and is based on a married couple Ram and Gurdip Kohli (Anandita) and their emotional turmoil. Produced by Mahesh Bhatt, the show is inspired by Bhatt's superhit film Daddy (1989), starring Pooja Bhatt and Anupam Kher.
The show has the actor playing the role of Ram Ahuja, who is on the verge of losing his terminally ill wife Anandita. Anandita wants to embrace death and relieve her family of all the pain they are going through in dealing with her illness.
On the other hand, Ram knows that death is inevitable, but is unwilling to accept the truth. He is ready to go do anything to save his loving wife. The show will revolve around Ram and his efforts to raise their child alone. Mahima Makwana will essay the role of their daughter.
Sharing some details of his role, Ram told Indian Express: "Though the monetary situation of the family is tight, but Ram is blessed with an amazing family. He has a life partner whom he adores and their family life is full of happiness. I didn't need any preparation for this role, and connected to this character instantly since I am married and have a daughter."
Show Timing: "Dil ki Baatein Dil hi Jaane", will air in Sony from 23 March at 9:30 pm every Monday to Thursday.
