The makers of Ram Charan's upcoming Telugu film Dhruva have revealed the details of the date and venue of its pre-release function, which is held as part of the promotional strategies of the movie.
Audio release functions are part of publicity of a film in the Telugu film industry. But producer Allu Aravind, the owner of Geetha Arts, cancelled the music launch of Dhruva due to unknown reasons and released its audio album directly into the market. On the occasion, the producer had told that he would hold a pre-release function for the promotion of the film.
Now, Allu Aravind has announced that he has planned a grand pre-release function for Dhruva at the Yusufguda Police Lines on 4 December. Several celebs from Telugu films and hundreds of fans of the mega family are expected to attend this event.
Vamsi Kaka, a publicist for Dhruva, tweeted: "Mega Power Star Ram Charan's #Dhruva pre-release function will be held at Yousufguda Police Lines on December 4, 2016."
Dhruva is a most-awaited stylish action thriller featuring mega power star Ram Charan and Rakul Preet Singh in the lead roles. Arvind Swamy is seen playing the main antagonist in the movie, while Posani Krishna Murali and Nasser appear in other important roles. The first look, teaser and music album have become a big hit with the audience. Its trailer, which was released on 25 November, was watched 4 million times.
Dhruva, which is a remake of Thani Oruvan, has been directed by Surender Reddy and jointly produced by Allu Aravind and NV Prasad under the banner of Geetha Arts. The film has Hip Hop Tamizha's music, PS Vinod's cinematography, Nagendra's art direction and Naveen Nooli's editing. The film has got a U/A certificate from the censor board and gearing up for a grand release across the globe on 9 December.
