The release date of Ram Charan's "Yevadu" has once again been pushed further to 10 October.
Initially, "Yevadu" was scheduled to release on 31 July, but the release date was pushed in a bid to avoid a clash with Pawan Kalyan's "Atharintiki Daaredi".
But the makers have once again changed the date and have now pushed it for 10 October to cash in on the Dussehra holidays.
The current political scenario has led the makers to announce a different date for "Yevadu" release. Anti-Telangana activists are protesting against the separation of the Andhra Pradesh state. Some activists have demanded the resignation of Union Minister Chiranjeevi as they were not happy with the way he has dealt with the issue.
They had threatened to protest against the release of Telugu films from the Mega family. This has led Ram Charan's (Chiranjeevi's son) film to be delayed. Directed by Vamsi Paidipally, "Yevadu" has Shruti Haasan and Amy Jackson in lead roles. Allu Arjun and Kajal Aggarwal are making special appearances in the film. The film has already generated a lot of buzz among fans, thanks to an impressive trailer.
The delay in "Yevadu" signals that Ram Charan's another film "Toofan" ( "Zanjeer" in Hindi) will make it to the theatres earlier by a month. The bilingual film, which has been delayed due to some issues, is finally releasing simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu on 6 September.
On the other hand, uncertainty still prevails over the release of "Atharintiki Daaredi", which stars Pawan Kalayan ( Chiranjeevi's brother). The film was slated for a release on 9 August, but disturbances in the AP state, has forced its producer BVSN Prasad to delay the film's release. He is yet to announce a fresh release date of the Pawan starrer.
