Mega Power Star Ram Charan has finally announced that he has roped in director Puri Jagannath for his father Chiranjeevi's 150th film.
Ever since megastar Chiranjeevi announced his comeback, speculations have been rife about the director and other cast and crew of his 150th film. Recently, it was rumoured that VV Vinayak has been asked to direct Chiru's comeback film, the ace director had also confirmed the news.
But Ram Charan, who turns producer for his father's 150th film, took to Facebook page to reveal that the director is someone else. On 11 May, the actor posted: "YES It's true!!! finally dad has decided. Mega star's 150th movie director is Puri Jaganath. Excited!!!"
Interestingly, the announcement of Chiru's 150th movie comes on the third anniversary of Pawan Kalyan's blockbuster movie "Gabbar Singh". Mega family PRO and producer SKN aka G Sriniwasa Kumar tweeted, "#May11th #3YearsForGabbarSingh & #Chiru150 announcement What a Day :)"
Reports suggest that the pre-production work of Chiranjeevi's 150th movie is going on in full swing. Puri Jagannath has recently registered a title "Auto Johnny" at the film chamber of commerce. It is being speculated that this title is meant for the much-awaited comeback movie of the megastar.
The highly-talked about movie will be launched on Chiru's 60th birthday on 22 August. The regular shooting will begin in September and the movie will be released as a Sankranti treat.
