Ram Charan and Rakul Preet Singh have returned from Europe after shooting some song sequences for Srinu Vaitla's film and has started next schedule in Hyderabad on Wednesday.
Tentatively titled "My Name is Raju", director Srinu Vaitla's upcoming film was launched officially at producer DVV Danayya's office in Hyderabad on 5 March and its regular shooting started two weeks later. Having canned some scenes in the city, the film unit had left for Europe on 20 May.
The team of "My Name is Raju" has shot a couple of songs in exotic locales of Europe in a 10-day schedule. Ram Charan and Rakul Preet, who are playing the lead roles in the film, have taken part in the shooting of two duets songs in Spain from 21 to 30 May. Having wrapped up the songs they returned to Hyderabad with other unit members.
After some days' break, the team of "My Name is Raju" has resumed shooting in Hyderabad on 3 June. Sources close to the production team say that the rest of the movie will be shot in the city. The producers have plans to wrap up its filming as early as possible and release the film in theatres by 15 October, a week before the Dussehra festival.
"My Name is Raju" is touted as a family drama with high action quotient. This film brings together Srinu Vaitla with writing duo Kona Venkat and Gopi Mohan, who had parted their ways after the release of Junior NTR's "Baadshah" in 2013.
"Naayak" fame DVV Danayya is producing "My Name is Raju" under the banner of DVV Entertainments. It will have Kona Venkat's dialogues, SS Thaman's music, Manoj Paramahamsa's cinematography, MR Varma's editing and Anal Arasu's stunts.
