Actress Rakul Preet Singh, who is busy promoting "Sarainodu" (Sarrainodu), opened about her character in the Allu Arjun-starrer movie and said that she is playing a village belle in it.
"Sarainodu" is an action thriller and Allu Arjun is playing a lead role in the movie. He appears as an Army officer who provides security to the CM and other MLAs. The film has two female leads played by Rakul Preet and Catherine Tresa. The makers had revealed the details of the latter's role, but they kept the details of Rakul's character, which created lot of curiosity about the movie.
Now, Rakul Preet herself has spilled the beans on her role in "Sarainodu." "I play a village girl called Maha Lakshmi who is quite lively in nature. I have a very interesting equation with Allu Arjun and the way Boyapati has showcased it is just wonderful," the actress said in an interview to 123 Telugu.
The actress says she did not do any preparation for the role before starting shooting for it. "I just followed my director Boyapati and did whatever he told me to do," Rakul Preet said.
Rakul Preet said she had a great time working with director Boyapati Srinu in the movie "Sarainodu." "He is tough task master and is quite clear with everything he does. The way he narrates you the story and the way he executes it is the exact same. What is on the paper will be on the screen," she told.
Allu Arjun is known for his dance moves and the actress, whoever works with him, has a tough time matching steps with him, and Rakul was no exception. "It was very hard and I had to work extra time to get my steps tight," the actress told, when quizzed about the shooting about dance sequences.
