Actress Rakul Preet Singh, who is now busy for Ram Charan's "Dhruva," will reportedly join superstar Mahesh Babu for the shooting of AR Murugadoss' upcoming untitled movie on Aug. 11.
AR Murugadoss had initially planned to rope in Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra for the female lead in the Telugu-Tamil bilingual movie. But the actress quoted high remuneration and also could not give her dates for its promotion. Then the director approached Rakul Preet for the role.
Rakul Preet Singh is expected to join the shooting of Mahesh Babu's film on August 11, after wrapping up the filming of Ram Charan's "Dhruva." "The film's shooting will start from July 29 onwards and the makers finally decided to go with Rakul," the Deccan Chronicle quoted a source as saying.
Rakul Preet Singh has five big movies like "Dhruva," "Shimla Mirchi," "Thupparivaalan," "Boyapati Srinu" and Gopichand Malineni's untitled projects lined up for shooting. Mahesh Babu's film is the sixth biggest film in her kitty. But it was rumoured that the actress rejected Mahesh Babu's film for Sai Dharam Tej's movie.
The DC reports that Rakul's manager has dismissed the rumours that she has accepted director AR Murugadoss' offer. She is all thrilled to work with Mahesh Babu in the film, which happens to be the first combo.
After the release of "Brahmotsavam," Mahesh Babu had left for a holiday trip with his family to London, Scotland, Ireland and Switzerland and he returned to Hyderabad in the last week of June. The superstar is expected to join AR Murugadoss for the shooting of the bilingual movie on July 29.
