The reports about Rakshit Shetty and Rashmika Mandanna calling off their engagement created a lot of buzz in the media over the last weekend. While the media was busy speculating about the reasons of their breakup, some of his fans went on to abuse and troll her, saying that she dumped him after getting a break in the Telugu film industry. The actress apparently had a tough time facing his fans' outbursts.
Rakshit Shetty had recently deactivated his Facebook and Instagram accounts to stay away from social media for some time. But he was compelled to comeback after he saw the impact of the news about his split from Rashmika. In a lengthy comment, the actor issued a clarification, "I have known Rashmika for more than two years and I have known her better than any of you."
Rakshit Shetty went on rescue Rashmika Mandanna from trolls and requested them to stop abusing the actress. He added, "There are many factors which are acting here. Please stop judging her. Please let her be in peace. I hope everything comes to a conclusion soon and you all will know the reality."
Rakshit Shetty is one of the most dignified filmmakers in the Kannada film industry and has achieved this status through creativity. He has not only created a niche for himself through the kind of movies he has done, but has also been an inspiration to the younger generation of actors and directors in Sandalwood.
