Raju Gari Gadi 2 launched in style; Seerat Kapoor to romance Nagarjuna in Omkar's film

Actress Seerat Kapoor is in talks with the makers of Raju Gari Gadi 2, which was launched in style at a grand opening ceremony on Sunday. If all goes well, she will romance Akkineni Nagarjuna in Omkar's film.

Raju Gari Gadhi 2 is touted to be a horror movie and director Omkar, who scored a big hit with Raju Gari Gadhi, is set to direct Nagarjuna in it. The movie is being jointly produced by Pearl V Potluri, Param V Potluri, and Kavin Anne under the banners PVP Cinema, Matinee Entertainment and Oak Entertainments. The makers held a grand function for the muhurat of the film at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad on Sunday.

Nagarjuna, who has been experimenting with his roles and genres of his films in recent years, will be seen in a brand new avatar in Raju Gari Gadi 2. The film unit is currently busy working on the special look of the actor. They are expected to finalise it in next three to four weeks.

Raju Gari Gadi 2 is said to have two female lead roles and the makers are reportedly in talks with some popular actresses. The producers have approached Mumbai beauty Seerat Kapoor for one of the two roles and talks are said to be in the final stages. The curly haired actress, who made her debut in Telugu with Sharwanand's Run Raja Run, is likely to sign on the dotted lines soon.

Seerat Kapoor is trained in acting and dancing, and started her career as a dance instructor at Bollywood choreographer Ashley Lobo's academy The Danceworx. She also worked as assistant choreographer for Ranbir Kapoor and Nargis Fakhri's 2011 film Rockstar. Since making her debut as an actress with Run Raja Run, she has played lead roles in Sundeep Kishan's Tiger and Sumanth Ashwin's Columbus.

The regular shooting of Raju Gari Gadi 2 will start in January 2017 and it will be completed in two months. The makers have planned to release the movie in summer next year. Sources close to the production team say that the film is going to be high on entertainment quotient.
