Salman Khan is one superstar who has the record of giving back-to-back hits and now Rajkumar Santoshi is reportedly eyeing to cash in on the "Sultan" actor's popularity. Rajkumar has been meeting Salman frequently to convince the star to feature in his next movie, reports the SpotboyE.
The report said that Rajkumar has met with Salman at least three times in the past few days. Their last meeting was at Salman's residence in Galaxy Apartments, Bandra, Mumbai, Friday and the film-maker was accompanied by his team of writers as well, the report added.
Rajkumar's last movie was Shahid Kapoor starrer "Phata Poster Nikhla Hero" in 2013 that bombed at the box office. Rajkumar had earlier worked with Salman in the movie "Andaz Apna Apna" (1994) that also fearured Aamir Khan, Raveena Tandon, Karisma Kapoor and Paresh Rawal. There are also reports that the makers of the cult comedy film are now in talks to make a sequel to "Andaz Apna Apna." However, Salman and Aamir will reportedly not be part of the sequel and it will have a completely new plot.
Meanwhile, Salman has been busy with the shooting of his upcoming movie "Sultan" that will present the actor as a wrestler from Haryana. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the film also features Anushka Sharma. Shooting of "Sultan" is on the verge of completion and the film is slated to be released around Eid. Shah Rukh Khan's "Raees" is also expected to hit the screens around the same time and there can be a big box office clash.
