As Rajinikanth gets ready for one of the biggest releases in his career in the form of "Kabali," here we list out some of his popular dialogues from his Tamil films.
"Naan oru thadava sonna... Nooru thadava sonna mathiri..." (If I say it once, it's equivalent to having said it a 100 times):" This is one of the all-time popular dialogues of Rajinikanth from his blockbuster "Baasha." The Suresh Krishna-directorial film had Nagma in the female lead role.
"Naan eppa varuven, eppadi varuvennu yarukkum theriyadhu, aana varavendiya neratthil correct aga varuven (When I will come or how I will come, nobody knows, but I will arrive when the time is right):" This is a powerful line from "Muthu," which remains a landmark movie in Rajinikanth's career as his popularity saw a new high in Japan.
"Andavan solran. Arunachalam seiran" (God tells. Arunachalam acts):" It is a simple yet powerful line, which instantly struck a chord with the masses. Sundar C's film won three three Tamil Nadu State Government Awards. Rambha and late actress Soundarya were female leads in the film.
"Kanna, panni dhan kootama varum. Singam Singleaa dhaan varum (Only pigs come in herds. The lion always comes alone).: This is one of the popular dialogues from "Sivaji" and the line was used in other language films as well. Sivaji, directed by Shankar, was the biggest grosser of the time and won lots of awards in various categories.
"Ekambaramnu sonna vayithula irukura kozhandhai kooda vaaya moodum (If you say the name 'Ekambaram', even an unborn child will shut its mouth):" Rajinikanth had mouthed this dialogue in "Moondru Mugam." He did a triple role in the movie, which also featured Delhi Ganesh, Raadhika Sarathkumar, Sathyaraj and others.
