Aishwarya Dhanush is all set to make her acting debut. Well, the buzz is that she will be sharing screen space with her father and superstar Rajinikanth in his next film to be directed by Pa Ranjith.
Rumours are rife that Aishwarya Dhanush, who has directed two films so far, will be seen in an important role in the film. However, it is not clear whether she will be seen in a full-fledged role or just in a guest appearance.
After the success of Kabali, Pa Ranjith is set to direct Rajinikath again. The young filmmaker has now joined directors like KS Ravikumar, P Vasu, Shankar, Suresh Krishna, who worked with Rajinikanth more than once.
Earlier, there were rumours doing the rounds that Pa Ranjith and Rajinikanth were teaming up for a sequel to Kabali. Now, sources have revealed that the duo is reuniting for a new project, which does not have any connection to their previous film.
The movie will take off next year and it is being produced by Aishwarya's husband and actor Dhanush under the banner of Wunderbar Films.
Rajinikanth's forthcoming movie 2.0
On the other hand, Rajinikanth is busy with 2.0, which is also known as Enthiran 2. After completing his talkie portions, he has left to the US for a health check-up. The major part of the shooting has been completed and the extensive post-production will commence next month.
The makers have planned to release the teaser of 2.0 on November 20. It will be reportedly unveiled in Mumbai.
2.0 is a science-fiction directed by Shankar and produced by Lyca Productions, which is shelling out Rs 350 crore on the project. The movie, which has Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson in key roles, will hit the screens in 2017.
