Rajinikanth's Next film to Hit the Floors on 2 August

The date of the launch of Rajinikanth's next movie with Pa Ranjith seems to have been fixed. Well, the Tamil flick will hit the floors on 2 August.

As per the reports, Rajinikanth's next film will be formally launched through a pooja ceremony in Chennai on 2 August. Soon after the muhurat, the regular shooting of the Tamil flick will begin. The first schedule will be shot in Malaysia and the makers have planned for 60 days to film the crucial part of the flick. 

The untitled movie has Prakash Raj, Kalairasan and Dinesh are in the cast. But the female lead is not confirmed yet even though there were speculations that Nayantara and Vidya Balan were approached. It is likely to be revealed soon.

The Tamil movie is edited by Praveen KL and Santhosh Narayanan will compose music for the film. Murali will handle cinematography and Ramalingam will be the art director.

Anbu and Arive are going to handle the action sequence, while Rooban will take care of sound designing. Sathish will choreograph dance sequences for the Tamil movie which will be bankrolled by Kalaipuli S Dhanu.

However, on August 2, there are two more events are likely to happen. The first one is the audio launch function of Vijay's mega-budget movie "Puli". It has Devi Sri Prasad's music and it is not sure whether the makers will organise a grand function to unveil it.

"Puli" also stars Kannada superstar Kiccha Sudeep, yesteryear actress Sridevi Kapoor, Hansika Motwani and Shruti Haasan in the key roles.

On the same day, the music of Vishal Krishna's "Paayum Puli" will also be launched. Kajal Aggarwal and Samuthikirani starrer movie is directed by Suseenthiran. It has D Imman's music.
