Superstar Rajinikanth's much-talked-about Tamil film "Kabali" will be dubbed and released in Telugu with the same name. The makers of the movie have released the first look of its Telugu version.
"Kabali" is a crime thriller written and directed by Pa Ranjith. It was rumoured earlier that this Tamil movie would be dubbed in Telugu and released as "Mahadeva". But the three posters of its Telugu version, which were released on the net today, have proved those reports wrong.
Two of the three posters of "Kabali" feature the stylish getups of Rajinikanth, who looks stunning with his grey hair and beard. Another poster shows Rajini holding some people captive with a chain. The posters have created a lot of curiosity about the film, but the makers have kept its story under wraps. Click here to see Kabali Telugu poster
Rajnikanth plays the role Kabaleeswaran in "Kabali", while Radhika Apte appears as the female lead. Kishore, Dinesh, Kalaiyarasan, John Vijay, Mime Gopi, Dhansika, Riythvika, Rosyam Nor and Winston Chao will be seen in the supporting cast of the movie, produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu under the banner V Creations.
The first schedule of filming started at the Russian Centre of Science and Cultural in Chennai on Vinayagar Chaturthi on 17 September, 2015. Later, the movie was reportedly been shot in Malaysia, Bangkok and Hong Kong. Rajinikanth took a break from the shooting of "Kabali" and went to work on director Shankar's upcoming project "2.0".
The buzz now is the next schedule of "Kabali" is beginning in Malaysia from today (20 January), and will continue till 18 February. The film unit is said to be shooting some high-voltage action scenes in this schedule. The team has planned to release the film on 14 April, which coincides with the Tamil New Year.
