The plans of the "Kabali" teaser's release have undergone changes, and it will not be out along with Ilayathalapathy Vijay's "Theri" next week. Now, the video of the superstar's film will reportedly be released in the last week of April, claims a report on IndiaGlitz.
However, it might be attached to "Theri" once the teaser of "Kabali" is out. But the reason for changing the plans is not known yet. The original plan was to release the teaser April 14, and the makers wanted the clip to be played in all the theatres where Vijay's "Theri" would be screened in Tamil Nadu.
Currently, the editing of the teaser is in progress, reports the New Indian Express. "I have already logged the first half. I am looking to finish off the second half by this week. Teaser work is also going on. The teaser will not be more than a minute," the daily quoted editor KL Praveen as saying.
People are expecting an electrifying teaser from the makers of "Kabali." In the recent months, such videos of big movies, including Suriya-starrer "24" and Ilayathalapathy Vijay's "Theri," have caught cine-goers' fancy. So, the audience have high hopes from the teaser of Rajinikanth's film.
The makers will reportedly release the trailer of "Kabali" in May.
"Kabali" is written and directed Pa Ranjith. The movie, which has Radhika Apte as the female lead, is likely to hit the screens simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu by the end of May or the first week of June.
Rajinikanth will be seen as an ageing gangster who also runs a school for children affected by gang wars. The story is set in Malaysia.
Meanwhile, the stage is set for the release of "Theri," which has Samantha and Amy Jackson as the female leads. The film has been written and directed by Atlee Kumar. It has to be noted that both Rajinikanth and Vijay's films are produced by Kalaipuli S Dhanu.
