The first teaser of Rajinikanth-starrer "Kabali" is getting ready to hit the internet with a bang. It will reportedly be out on May 1.
An interesting development is the teaser will be attached to Suriya's "24," which will hit the screens worldwide on May 6, reports IndiaGlitz. The makers are expected to formally announce the news soon.
Suriya's "24" is a science fiction film with Samantha and Nithya Menen as the female leads. Vikram Kumar has written and directed the film.
It was reported earlier that the teaser of "Kabali" would be attached to Vijay, Samantha and Amy Jackson-starrer "Theri," which released last week. But things did not go as per the makers' plans, forcing them to reschedule the release date.
The change in the plans to release "Kabali" also made the makers postpone the teaser release.
Now, the audience are expecting the teaser of "Kabali" to be released on the midnight of May 1, as is customary of some of the teasers and trailers of big-banner films in recent years.
Meanwhile, Rajinikanth has started dubbing for his portions in "Kabali." Director Pa Ranjith announced the news on his Twitter account recently. The film is still in the post-production stage and it will take a few more weeks to be completely ready for release.
Once the post-production work is wrapped up, the makers of "Kabali" will submit the movie to the regional censor board for certification. The multilingual movie is expected to release in the last week of May or the first week of June.
"Kabali" is an action-thriller produced by Kalaipuli S Dhanu, who is basking in the success of "Theri." Radhika Apte has played the female lead in the film that has Santhosh Narayanan's music, G Murali's cinematography and Praveen KL's editing.
