There are nine tracks in the film crooned by some of the popular singers of the Indian film industry. Interestingly, the superstar's better half Latha has sung a song titled "Manappenin Sathiyam", which has lyrics written by Vairamuthu.

The film's audio launch is all set to take place on 9 March at Chennai's Sathyam Cinemas. "Kochadaiiyaan" trailer is also confirmed to release on the same day. The event will be a grand affair with the presence of film's cast and crew including Rajinikanth, director Soundarya, music composer AR Rahman among others. Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan and the film's female lead Deepika Padukone are expected to attend the big event.
"Kochadaiiyaan", deemed as the first 3D Indian film to use motion capturing techniques, will have Rajinikanth appearing in dual roles. The historic drama also boasts of an ensemble cast including Deepika, Shobana, Jackie Shroff, Nassar, Sarathkumar and Aadhi.
The film's story, screenplay and dialogues are written by popular director K.S. Ravi Kumar, who has worked with Rajinikanth in films such as "Muthu" and "Padayappa." The magnum opus will be jointly produced by Eros International and Media One Global Entertainment.
The Rajini starrer was expected to hit the screens on 11 April. However, director Soundarya has revealed that the release date is not yet fixed. The film will be releasing in six languages including Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Punjabi, Bhojpuri and Marathi.
