With just a couple of days left for the grand audio and trailer launch of "Kochadaiiyaan," superstar Rajinikanth fans will be eager to get more updates about their Thalaivar's film.
Here is some exciting news for the fans!
Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan will grace the audio launch function of "Kochadaiiyaan," which is set to take place at Chennai's Sathyam Cinemas on 9 March.
The news has been confirmed by Mediaone Global banner that is co-producing "Kochadaiiyaan." "We are delighted to share that Shahrukh Khan will be with us for #kochadaiiyaansongs launch on March 9th," Mediaone Global tweeted.
It is known that Shahrukh is a huge fan of the superstar. The Bollywood Baadshah made Rajinikanth to do a cameo appearance in his sci-fi film "Ra.One." He also made a tribute to the superstar by dancing to the tunes of "Lungi Dance," crooned by Yo Yo Hiney Singh. This song from "Chennai Express" was a big hit among the audience.
It will be a big treat for the fans to see two of the industry's biggest stars - Rajinikanth and Shahrukh - sharing the same dais during the audio launch event.
The launch function will be a grand affair with the presence of "Kochadaiiyaan" cast and crew members. Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone are also expected to attend the mega event.
The historic drama, deemed as India's first performance capture photorealistic film, has been generating a lot of buzz ever since it went on floors.
First, it is a Rajinikanth film and the fans are jubilant to see their Thalaivar on big screen after a span of nearly four years after "Enthiran."
Secondly, some of industry's best talents are a part of this film, including music composer AR Rahman, lyricist Vairamuthu, singer SP Balasubramanyam and cinematographer Rajiv Menon among others.
"Kochadaiiyaan" boasts of an ensemble cast including Nassar, Sarathkumar, Jackie Shroff, Shobana and Aadhi.
The film will be releasing in six languages soon.
